This was a fairly early song written in our first practice space as a direct attempt to drown out this horrible emo band called Lume. They occupied the space next to ours and literally ruined nearly every practice we had while they were there at the same time because they were so unbelievably loud. I can't remember if we could hear the singer singing "So beautiful..." over and over or if it was Bob sitting behind the drums and just making up some random emo lyrics. Regardless, I can picture Bob doing that and it still makes me laugh. The main riff was from way, way back in the earliest days of Everythings Gone Green when we covered PJ Harvey's "Driving," which doesn't have a bass part, so I didn't feel bad taking it with me and using it for this song. I guess the lyrics are about S&M, but they're pretty much scat. The demo for this ended up on the first Brit Albion ep in January 2007.
