Song Notes
- Waiting for the Man - Bill: I don't know what's going on with the tone on my guitar. Wil and I think it might be the tape. I hope so. I don't like this version. Sometimes we went straight from Doug Yule's Ghost into Waiting for the Man.
- Peggy Sue - Wil: I think it's safe to say that Bob and I had an idea of how the rest of Pink Floyd felt near the end of Syd Barrett's time when he'd come in and show them a new song and then change it the second time he played it. Ok, maybe a West Virginia version of Syd Barrett.
- Night of Judy Garland - Wil: When we played (or I record/write) up in my bonus room I often had the TV on for "lyrical inspiration," though ironically (or not) this song is an instrumental. Turner Classic Movies was showcasing a "night of Judy Garland," so there you have that. Some of the chord structure made it into a later song that never really had a name but was lyrically inspired (again in the bonus room) by "Night of the Living Dead." We never played it out and unfortunately never recorded it, but I remember it being a pretty ok song.
