Song Notes
- Tuesday's Garden - From Tom Shaw: "In the summer of 1985, I was up late watching Night Flight. They had better videos than MTV. That night I saw a video for “Her Head’s Revolving” by the Three O’ Clock. I was smitten and inspired. I’d never heard anything like it. I bought their record the next day and called Jerry Chapman. We sat and listened to the album several times before agreeing that this was a sound worth pursuing. The result was “Tuesday’s Garden.” The song is a tribute to the enormous impact The Three O’ Clock had on us. I wrote some stream of consciousness lyrics and Jerry helped with the chord structure and vocal arrangements. After working it out, we recorded it on my Panasonic tape recorder. That cassette is long lost, but the song had staying power, being chosen to be one of the tracks we cut with Mitch in the first session in March 1988."
