Two Pound Planet's final show and what came after

FromĀ Facebook:

On this day, November 17, 1993, Two Pound Planet played it's final show in Florence, South Carolina. It was a bittersweet end for seven long years of hard work for the power pop band from North Carolina. Their's was a time before mp3s and the internet. Who knows what kind of success they might have had in different times.

Jerry Chapman went on to tour the world with his act Life In General. He later found success as a solo artist, releasing four stellar albums. Jerry Finley, Tom Shaw, and Jason Buss toured as the 80s tribute act, The Breakfast Club. Finley still manages and performs in the band. He and Shaw also played in the hard rock group, Aqua Kitty, in the late 90s.

On several occasions, Two Pound Planet has been asked to reunite with the original line-up. The most recent offer was from English billionaire, Richard Branson. Again, it was not to be. Word spread quickly that Jason Buss tore up the $85 offer. Apparently no measure of money will bring them back together again.
